Guest guest
For kefir I use any size jar that I have, from small on up. a question on kefir - I have been buying kefir from my farmer. He uses kefir grains to make the kefir. I have been adding 1 T. of his kefir to 1 c. of raw milk and letting it sit for a day or so. the end product looks and tastes like kefir. is this an acceptable way of making kefir? would it be as good as using the grains? > > I use 1/2-gallon Ball canning jars (wide-mouth) for kefir and fermenting > veggies. I'm curious, other than crocks, what other size jars people use. > Thanks! > Sharon
