Guest guest
I've tried it once but it was such a mess and there was no way to keep it on your teeth, really. I gave up on that idea. I now use Uncle Harry's tooth powder and I think it has removed stains and I seem to be back to my natural tooth color. But I think there's some kalc in it and I seem to remember someone saying that isn't good for the enamel, though I haven't noticed any harm done and have used it since last Feb. Anyone have an opinion on this? I really like this stuff so hope it's not doing any harm. Laree -I haven't, but I think the malic acid in strawberries would be the point of using them, and I'd wonder whether actually mixing the strawberry pulp with baking soda might neutralize it. Perhaps it would be better to apply strawberry pulp, wait 5 minutes, and then brush with baking soda?-> ...back in June?>> 1 ripe strawberry> 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Directions: Crush the strawberry to a pulp,> then mix> with the baking powder until blended. Guest guest
What is Kalc? I hope Uncle Harry's is not bad for the enamel b/c I just ordered a cocktail of products that Uncle Harry recommended to me on Saturday. He shed some light on my problem b/c I told him I ate relatively healthy but still have a lot of teeth problems and he mentioned that it's probably a saliva problem for me which I believe is true. Everything in my body is pretty dry at this point in my healing, I think that's common with adrenal/thyroidy people. It's interesting b/c I just went to this holistic type optometrist and was discussing why I didn't think I would be a candidate for lasik even though Bascom Palmer approved me and he was saying it's the quality of your tears that's important and this can't be measured while Bascom Palmer was measuring the quantity of tears. I just think it's so interesting that there would be this overlap of information within a few days of each other, when this happens I really pay attention. Harry said the remineralization powder would serve to make my mouth wet throughout the day if I used it b/c it would increase my saliva. He said with the three products he had me get, my tooth sensitivity should clear up in a few weeks. I will report back my experiences with it. I believe a lot of healthy foods are hard on the enamel but again this is where that healthy saliva things starts making a lot of sense. He seems to be a proponent of not being too acidic and having an alkaline diet which to this day I don't understand how that alkaline theory works although I have read and read and read about it. It's so confusing. --- In , Laree Kline <lareekline@...> wrote: > > > I've tried it once but it was such a mess and there was no way to keep it on your teeth, really. I gave up on that idea. Guest guest
What is Kalc? Ha! Don't know what I was thinking there! I mean chalk (calcium carbonate). Other ingredients: mustard seed powder, sea salt, natural plant essences. Laree
