State Program Coordinator – ANDHRA PRADESH 2 Posts based in Hyderabad Terms of reference The State Program Coordinator, will be a core part of the in-country team that will plan, direct, and coordinate activities on behalf of the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative to help ensure the India program for HIV/AIDS care and treatment meets goals and objectives within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Key Responsibilities Include: o Preparing an action plan to support the care and treatment activities of the Initiative in Andhra Pradesh. o Facilitating program implementation by obtaining, coordinating and managing the required resources (i.e. human, financial, etc.) o On-going monitoring of programs to ensure that program objectives are being reached and to ensure that the program is sustainable. Main Functions The public health specialist of the Bala Sahayoga Project will be ensuring effective linkage of the project with the district health system. S/he will lead the programme development strategies that will make the functioning of the health facilities more effective. S/he will promote innovation and good practice; lead & manage capacity development & technical support to health facilities and district health system; provide technical expertise to support policy and programme work; and, support new programme development. 1. The Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI), India office is seeking the services of highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Program Assistants for the CHAI Pediatric HIV/AIDS Care and Treatment program in some of the high prevalent states of India. CHAI is searching for outstanding professionals with relevant experience to support the Pediatric Initiative. The incumbents will provide program management and documentation support in their respective roles to the Foundation's grantees to strengthen existing projects and ensure achievement of high standards of quality.
