Pregnant and just discovering Native Nutrition

Hello everyone,

I am 9 weeks pregnant, and I am just discovering this whole eye-

opening world of nutrition that you don't usually hear about.

It started with my researching soybeans and whether they are truly

beneficial for you. Wow. Now I am trying to avoid everything soy,

but this search led to the Weston Price Foundation, this website,

etc. I have the Nourishing Traditions cookbook, and it is very

interesting. I am trying not to become overwhelmed at the complete

different eating lifestyle. I have read the recommendations for diet

during pregnancy on the WAPF website. As I mentioned it is a little

overwhelming to jump right in. For instance, I hate liver, even

though I read the benefits of it. I've slowly but surely been

changing my diet for the better over the last few years anyway. Does

anyone have any advice for me about what they did during pregnancy?

I don't even know where to buy raw milk, let alone I confess it seems

scary to start drinking it now (pregnant) after I have been

brainwashed to think it is bad for you (American Pregnancy Assoc

specifically warns you not to drink raw milk when pregnant). Can

anyone relate? I should also mention that with morning sickness, I

feel sick just thinking about eating many foods that I usually enjoy

(like chicken, steak, etc). I am craving potatoes, starchy foods.

So right now it seems even harder to get down new foods (like liver!)

I welcome your comments.
