From the Article....

" He noted that kids pick their noses happily and without abandon, but

by the time they become adults they have stopped (or do so on the

sly) under extreme pressure from a society that has labeled it anti-

social and disgusting. "

,

you must be very vigilant to not fall into doing it on the sly! ;)

So have a varied diet. Everything is toxic to some degree, and many

foods are vital to some degree. Strike a balance. Or eat boring food all

the time, and accept the junk packet food carefully selected by food

scientists to satisfy our daily recommended dosages, and let anxiety

conquer your ability to enjoy food.

Either way, I still prefer eating Brussels sprouts over snot!

I don't have any anxiety about eating brussels sprouts. I as

addressing whether it is desirable to try to get kids that hate them

to eat them.

Yeah snot is probably less toxic but I would pick the brussels sprouts

anyway if there were lots of butter nearby.

running down my face !!! ( Hmmm.... don't know what this says

about me ! ) but now I seek out this thread and see if anyone had

added anything ! I must say that I find all the comments witty,

clever and humorous ! Thanks for the shots of seratonin !!! [:D]

I never ate boogers, snot, or mucus. I have always thought it was

disgusting. So, it's not something all kids do.

Isn't the substance of what the booger made of the very thing the body

is trying to prevent from getting in with the nose hairs?
