Guest guest
Hi, In all due respect, it is not the fats per se, as much as the balance there-in. Science is always changing, & growing concurrent with the spirit of the times. The error that occurs everyday in science is the gross assumption that all people metabolize the same, that calories are a proven theory, & that we humans are placed into a cookie cutter model of conform or perish. Instead, let us implement individualized reactions to fats with respect to our particular ancestral constitution & time proven individuality. In that way maybe science will become less of an industry & more of a benefit to us as a human species. Well performed is better than well stated...,dedicated to all people everywhere, in all countries, of all ages & all professions & all schools of thought, who have either directly or indirectly contributed to native knowledge, our birthright; Jim Igo earthcrafts.net > How do I successfully get someone to realize that saturated fats are > not automatically bad? Guest guest
Direct this person to all the great articles on the WAPF site, Mercola, Taubes'/Barry Groves' books, articles and of course Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. I'm curious as to what kinds of saturated fats she is feeding mice. For example, are they eating natural butter or something hydrogenated like crisco or store-bought lard??? Good luck! --- In , " michael g " <tropical@...> wrote: > > How do I successfully get someone to realize that saturated fats are > not automatically bad? What are the pros and cons of them? It has a section debunking the saturated-fat-is-bad-for-you fat myth. http://www.thegreatcholesterolcon.com/ Also, here's a bit by Colpo's good buddy Dr Eades " Katanic Verse " http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/lipid-hypothesis/saturated-fat-debate/ Here's the link to the WAPF know your fats page: http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/index.html

I immediate thought that a. mice are mainly herbivores, and humans are not b. I bet the saturated fats used were of very poor quality, and over-processed I wondered if you or someone else had maybe seen some of this type of research, and could point me at some writings that debunk it. Complex biochemistry jargon is no problems, she knows her stuff, relatively. Simpler stuff is fine too, both together is fine.
