Guest guest
Alchohol does take minerals out of your system as well but it could also be a magnesium deficiency. I take magnesium for my leg cramps as well as celtic sea salt. Especially relevant since it occurs more in the summer.(you lose more water and salt in hot weather). If you are not getting enough salt in your diet, your cells won't be able to absorb enough water.Try a pinch of salt in a glass of water about three times a day, plus add it to your food to taste. You'll probably need to drink a few more glasses of plain water too. NB; only use unrefined sea salt or himalayan crystal salt.( See NT book) Ralph. --- In @ <mailto: %40> , " bosninnin " <bosninnin@...> wrote: > > can anyone tell me what chemical or other substance in beer/ wine other than alcohol could > cause painful muscle cramps in my legs. > i don't drink very often but live in the czech republic where beer is water. > i have noticed that if i get cramp its usually the day after i had a glass of beer/wine and that > it occurs more often in the summer! i never drink excessive amounts. > any clues would be welcome > Ingrid >
