LNJP Successfully Conduct Cesarean Operation on a +ve mother

Dear All,

Mrs. Preeti (name change) from Sighavat Uttar Pradesh came to LNJP

ART Clinic in Delhi to consult a doctor for her treatment as she was

pregnant. The ART clinics doctor prescribes her TDF/3TC/NVP to

prevent her child from HIV.

As the NACO free ART rollout program don't included TDF and she is

not able to afford to buy. AIDS Health care Foundation India (AHF)

provided her TDF.

On 1st September 2007 she was admitted in LNJP for delivery, Delhi

Network of Positive People request to the treating Doctor to conduct

a cesarean operation.

On 3rd September 2007 the LNJP Doctors conduct a cesarean operation

and she delivered a healthy baby boy.

On behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS we congratulate LNJP PPTCT

for their excellence job by conducting a cesarean operation.
