I've made miso following the instructions in " Wild Fermentations " and

it was a blast. fermented it for 4 months, opened up the crock in the

kitchen and it seriously smelled intensely like a pineapple orchard

through the whole house, it was incredible. I used a Tablespoon of

the the miso in my porridge and would let it sit overnight.

I'd think I'd use them for compost or if you don't compost, give them to someone

who does.

good point. much more practical than experimenting w/ gas-ohol fuel

aternatives.
