Hey, along with the POLITICS and RELIGION headers that we use on some posts, why

don't we have a POINTLESS NITPICKING header?

?That way those that want to can discuss the minutia of the hidden meaning of

every turn of phrase or make a big stink over one word that they have a problem

with. Then the rest of us can avoid those posts and get on with learning and

sharing actual information and feeding our families.

Ok, I'm being a bit facetious, but come on folks!

The original point, I think was quite relevant to this list, and

wasn't nitpicky at all. I think that most (but not all people) on this

list, are into this general way of eating because there is actually

EVIDENCE that it is better for you, and that we have been misled. In

order to have a rational discussion about this, facts and science must

be rather relevant to the discussion. The notion that the facts don't

matter, and that we should construct our diet around what our concept

of a personal God is, isn't a matter of only semantics, nitpicky, or

irrelevant.

The notion that a few posts actually keep you from feeding your

family is outright ludicrous. If you really think that my posts are

wasting so much of your time (I suspect that this is directed at me),

just filter me. I don't mind. Really.

I disagree, this is a forum where we can ask questions to the nth

degree without feeling squashed. Our questions are important to us.
