Guest guest
Hi, carnosine is different from carnitine. My son is 3 years old and I have used the methylcobalamin B12 in drops. It is highly concentrated, be carefull. I used 1,000 mcg daily and it had good result for us. the brand is from new begining nutritional, you can google them on the internet. You may ask this board if the ingredients are ok before you start using them. > > > > > > I have been reading alot on the B12 shots, does this come in > another > > > form other than shot that is as effective? > > > > > > There is a nasal spray. Guest guest
> Can you tell me what sublingual is? It means " under the tongue " . It is a tablet that dissolves really quickly, and you put it under your tongue. Except my kids just chewed them, and it still worked well. >>And can i get the oral/sublingual at a health food store? I did. > And how much would i use? My son is a big boy...11 and about 125lbs! I would start with 250mcg, so you can determine how much folic and/or carnitine he needs also. > Thanks for the info about the tv talk...i will look more into the > things you listed. Guest guest
http://www.jeffreysdrugstore.com/ try calling them. Ask For . She compounds everything for kids with issues. She works her butt off to get everything put thru your insurance. She is in PA. but ships Fed ex. She just compounded our b12 injections and it was covered. Hope she can help you. From: Safety For Toddlers <mlyman@...> Subject: RE: Re: B12 Date: Monday, November 17, 2008, 7:50 AM Hi! My son's DAN physician has recommended B12 shots compounded with folinic acid. This thread has been very helpful in understanding that many of you have seen immediate benefits for your children with B12. Unfortunately, the compunding process is quite pricey--to the tune of $100-$120/month. Have you found the drops less expensive and as effective? Thanks, Re: B12 > > I have been reading alot on the B12 shots, does this come in another > form other than shot that is as effective? There is a nasal spray. And an oral/sublingual. They were very effective for my kids. Dana
