Guest guest
I get my raw milk at Kimberton Whole Foods (not affiliated with Whole Foods stores) and today there was none - I asked about it and the health dept. guy came in and made them pull all the milk off the shelves because each jug did not have a warning lable on it (there was a sign in the store near the raw milk that had the warning instead). It was really just an inconvenience and the farm (Camphill Village - cool place!) already had new labels on some of the milk that was being sold at a different store. Just wanted people to know tho, because this is just weeks after the Hendricks dairy had a problem - some of their customers got sick and the health dept. leaked to the press that the milk was bad, stories were on the news all over the state (PA) and it turned out all milk samples were negative, so it was a false alarm. Some stations issued retractions on their websites but I didn't hear any on the TV news. I'm hearing rumblings that there is a crack-down on raw milk in PA happening. Not sure how true that is, tho.
