i'm also confused why NT says not to eat it, but sally fallon's eat fat loose

fat has several chocolate recipes. maybe she changed her mind? i know a lot of

people eat raw cacao nibs. if it is best to roast carob, does that go for

chocolate too?

The best place to start answering your question, imo, is to first ask why

roasting carob powder would make a difference in it, so that Fallon would

recommend roasted carob instead of raw. The expanation is given by the

doctor who " invented " the name " raw carob " , and now regrets it:

Weeeell...she also kept pork/pigs completely out of NT, but then later changed

her stance on

that. I just adapt some of her recipes to include pork, because I have no

trouble digesting it.

Not that her pork thing has anything to do with the chocolate thing.
