Guest guest
Christmas is coming up and I want to give my son and myself a countertop filter system like Brita. But wonder if there's a filter for that? If I go on a Brita site the sales department will make claims that may not be true. Anyone know for sure what to get for lead, chlorine and fluoride? Thanks,

Most drinking water systems will filter out lead and chlorine. It's the fluoride that's going to be the most difficult to remove: http://chemistry.about.com/od/chemistryhowtoguide/a/removefluoride.htm
Guest guest
The only thing I can think of that wouldn't be way too expensive that would filter out fluoride would be a double stage countertop filter...one of the filters should be a carbon block and the other one should be made specifically for fluoride removal. Something like this - http://www.isopurewater.com/isopure-water-double-stage-countertop-water-filter-p\ -39.html You would have to talk to them though and make sure one of the filters was specifically for fluoride. - > > > > Christmas is coming up and I want to give my son and myself a > > countertop filter system like Brita.
