Guest guest
Deer quality of life and culling Images of Deer Teeth http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/mammals/deerteth/ages.htm http://mdc.mo.gov/hunt/deer/age/ http://www.whitetails.com/deer_info/age_determination.cfm " 9-1/2; Years: By 9-1/2; years, all cheek teeth are cupped and worn nearly to the gum line " a sick deer should not be good for the deer population or the natural predators not to mention that to many deer are to the detriment of the whole deer population as to foraging for available food. If all they have to eat is the bark and twigs of tree this could be harder on their teeth and those teeth wear down fast enough as it is. Cherish and give Thanks to the life that gives you life, be it animal, plant or microbe. With electricity use going up and brown out I love this next link and if anyone is interested I will find the one about elephant dung having even more energy than cow patties. Electricity From What Cows Leave Behind " COW POWER Cows at Green Mountain Dairy Farm, right, one of four Vermont farms producing electricity for the power company; and Bill Rowell (far left), one of the owners of the farm, with Dunn of Central Vermont Public Service and an engine-generator fueled by bio-gas.
