Guest guest
In my life I have been exposed to two ways in which we all relate to our ability to express how we interpret all the information we get from our world, in other words, how we feel and how we think about what we are exposed to. I have also spent many years studying the science behind how we are able to feel and think at all and the profound implications this has for all humans. Very often a lot of time and effort is spent relating information about the organics of the human brain's ability to think and feel and the diminished abilities that result from brain trauma. As if anyone was interested, we could start a new group just on this subject alone but that is not the reason I'm posting. The reason I'm bringing this up is because although we can agree or disagree about any given information, the reason we agree or disagree is because we all feel or think we can. But CAN we really think or feel at all or is this a kind of conditioning we summit to throughout our lives? Do we gravitate to what we THINK or FEEL is positive and avoid what is negative or have we been conditioned to think and feel outside of ourselves? It has been my experience that there are a lot of people that think physical health is literal, that is to say something that can be seen, and that brain health is mental or something that we think is a " state of mind " , but often this is not the truth of the condition. As a matter of fact it is often the opposite. Often our physical health is a result of our state of mind and our state of mind is a result of our physical health. As an example we could all agree that anyone who uses steroids for physical health runs the risk of destroying their health yet in the users mind they are convinced they are healthy. Likewise anyone who believes something to be true even if that thinking is creating problems and persists in their delusion is mentally unhealthy as well. Things aren't as they appear to be. What has nutrition to do brain health? Everything and more. Your ability to think and feel at all is a result of nutrition. Nourishment is linked to every function a human being has including thoughts and feelings. Just spend 4 weeks with a healthy women and observe her feelings change week by week and you'll see what I'm talking about. Sorry Ladies, but we all agree things change in a 4 week cycle because of hormones. Which is fine, but what if she isn't healthy and her hormones are out of whack, doesn't that change the way she feels and thinks? Does nutrition play a role in hormone health? Even if the world hasn't changed it's changed to her. I could go on but my point is how we are as humans is because of what we DO about what we THINK and nutrition and health should be at the top of our list. Whether or not we think someone should or should not be president is irrelevant to why we come together through this group. Our focus is to become healthier and live better than we did before we came here. I hope I can continue to get information that I can use to help me live a long time with all of your help.
