Guest guest
Sophia, The rule that we use in our office is a 1:1 administrative to technical ratio. This is the data that I've gotten from my consulting group Measurable Solutions and it has worked.? I would tally up the admin hours from all that are doing it and do the same for the tech (PT's, aides, trainers etc.) and see what the ratio is.? Which ever is lower is the area to hire.? In most PT practices the tech is higher, since most PT owners are treating and also handling the most most important admin duties of hiring, training, personnel files organizing etc.?? Vinod Somareddy, DPT? Front office staff ratio to clinicians Greetings! I am a PT owner of a practice with 2.1 FTE of PTs (3 PT's), one .5 FTE fitness instructor who does her own scheduling and we have 1.8 FTE of front office staff. I just want to get an idea of how others structure this. We have: 1. outside billing services that bill and do collections, however our staff prepares billing info and any further informaiton that they need. 2. Front office receives payments for PT, co pays and for fitness payments 3. Regular chart audits ensuring, before a client is fully discharged, that all paperwork is in place, etc. Thanks in advance. ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever.
