You would probably also want to buy a TDS meter (total dissolved solids) which aren't that expensive to figure out how good it is working. Just compare the readings of the RO water to the tap water. Right after changing my filters my RO water will have ~5 parts per million TDS compared to tap water which is usually 150-200 ppm. - > > So, my new place apparently has an under the sink RO unit installed.
