one of the trainers said to her and another girl that they should eat

lots of butter and no margarine. he told them that they should eat

saturated fats and skip the others. he said that saturated and animal

fats are good for you even though most people say they're not. my

daughter was just smiling when she told me this and then she said

" Mom, you're ahead of the game! " I felt so proud. my husband was

listening too so I hope he takes note and stops buying margarine. LOL

Mine can't get enough of butter - we go through a stick a day or so.

It gets expensive! At least I transitioned them from butter to lard

for baking - I think the lard smells like pork even in biscuits or

brownies but the kids and dh don't mind a bit and since the lard was

free (got a 5 gal. bucket of it when we bought 1/2 hog - no extra

charge) it sure is cheaper! Once you get past the pork rind smell,

the foods do taste good - that appealing-ness that means your body

recognizes it as good food.
