Guest guest
I just got my vitamin D tested. I didn't mean to - the lab messed up and ran the wrong tests on my blood. Anyway, my vitamin D was 25. The lab's " normal " range was 20-57, although it said optimum was over 35. I believe Mercola likes it up around 40 or 50. I've been taking cod liver oil for 2 1/2 years now. I get about 3000 IU daily from it and a multi-vitamin (although I do forget my CLO once or twice a week). This is on top of whatever I get from my food. I know I need more sun, but still, I was shocked that my level was so low! What should I do? Any idea why my level would be so low even though I've been taking so much for so long?
