Opportunities for USAID supported AIDS Prevention and

Control Project (APAC), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry

The Voluntary Health Services (VHS), Chennai, a large Community Health NGO

founded in 1958, is implementing the AIDS Prevention and Control Project (APAC)

in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry as per the guidelines of National AIDS Control

Organisation (NACO), Delhi and working in close collaboration with AIDS Control

Societies of Tamil Nadu, Chennai & Puducherry. The project is funded by the

United States Agency for International Development (USAID). AIDS Prevention and

Control (APAC) Project is in its twelfth year and the current phase of the

program will be implemented from April 2007 to March 2012.

Positions 1 & 2 positions are based in Chennai and No.3. will be based in

selected districts of Tamil Nadu. For all the positions, Good Interpersonal,

Language ( English and Tamil) and Computer skills are essential. Compensation

will be comparable to the best in the voluntary sector.
