We cover from 7am-5:30pm. Generally, the OTs start at 7:00 and PT/ST start

around 8:00. We also have a few staff members of each discipline start at 9am

and end at 5:30pm. It just helps with scheduling. For weekends, the staff sign

up for at least one weekend day each month (most choose to do 2) and we use our

own supplemental pool to cover the rest of the needs. Holidays are a little

tricky but there are always a few staff that are willing to work for the holiday

pay. For the " major " holidays, we utilize about 1/2 the regular staff (and make

certain that the patients are well covered the day prior and after the holiday).

Subject: IRF therapy coverage hours

Hello,

We are looking at the hours of coverage for therapy services for our

inpatient rehab facility. Could you please share with me what your

hours of coverage are for PT, OT and ST? If you would, please also

include how you provide hours of coverage for weekends and holidays.

Thank you for your help!
