Guest guest
Dear Forum, Greetings. I here by inform you all that Dr. Jack Preagger had done the same unethical work. Again he refused to give 2ndline ARV drug to one positive people of West Bengal. All you know that the medicine does not stopped when it was started once. But he has done this things for several times. The positive people are coming from poor economic background and they have not enough money to buy the medicine from the market. These medicines which was given by Dr. Jack Preagger has brought a new chance to them of live long again. Because the Govt. authority will not agree to give those medicines free of cost as they have no policy to give such medicines. Dr. Jack Preagger stated that the beneficiaries don’t take the medicine regularly in time So. It will not work properly. But the allegation is not correct. If anybody missed the drug for one or two-day, it does not mean that he has refused to provide him the drug forever ..It is a life saving drug. So he has no right to stop the drug in any circumstances. Once I protested against him, I wrote it in AIDS INDIA e FORUM before. After that he threatened me over phone saying that I had to appolize otherwise he filed a case against me on court. But I make you remember that most of the positive people have no source of earning, and the rest who are working in various project, they do not earn sufficient to buy food and medicines both .They can only manage their livelihood from the salary of the project in which they are involved. But Dr. Jack Preagger has least brothered about that. He is a mind set person ..So he is doing the same thing repeatedly. Please create a voice against this kind of attitude.
