Guest guest
Is there a set Medicare standard on how timely in- pt evals need to be? Swing beds any different? I currently have a within 24 hours of the order/7days a week policy, but it's a tough standard to meet consistently. We are a Critical Access Hospital. Thanks. Pierre H. Guest guest
We are also a critical access hospital and we have the same policy of 24 hrs except on the weekend, We come in on the weekends only once on sat and do not have to come in on sunday. If an new order comes in after we leave on sat morning/ afternoon then it waits until mon morning. That is our current policy Jeff Nolder, PT Director of Phyiscal Medicine and Rehab Cherokee Regional Medical Center Cherokee, Iowa To: PTManager@...: prougny@...: Fri, 4 Jan 2008 17:09:23 -0500Subject: Timely evals/in- pt Is there a set Medicare standard on how timely in- pt evals need tobe?
