I am starting a PT practice and will shortly be beginning the credentialiing and negotiation process... 1. Does anyone have any tactics/ideas to get in network with providers if the network is temporarily closed? 2. Do you negotiate a per visit rate, or a per code rate? If so, do you base it on CMS fees or your " cost per visit " ? 3. What information should I have on my end when it gets down to negotiating - cost per visit, cost per procedure, other? 4. Are there any questions I should be asking regarding the claims process with them, like filing and payment issues? I know it's alot, but I'd love to hear any and all thoughts. THanks!
