Hi ,

What was the original question? I would be happy to forward on to Sally Werner

our director of Cancer Rehab program.

We have been using the lab values for physical therapy consideration

as presented by the Acute Care Section. I am currently seeking

information on Oncology Unit specific guidelines. I have heard that

there are some out there with special considerations for that

environment. Does anyone have access to a reference I can access?

> Do you have Lab Values for therapists to monitor on your Oncology

Unit? And are they different than the values you monitor throughout

the rest of the medical center? One of my oncologist's was used

as a consultant when we developed our policy, but now he and his

partners feel we need lower levels for the patients on the oncology

units, as they are used to running at lower levels for WBC's,

Hemaglobin and platelets. I would like to use an evidence based

approach if we are to adjust those numbers.

Thanks for your input.
