ICRW in partnership with the University of Connecticut, USA and funding from NIH is initiating a program that will develop and evaluate a culturally appropriate, theory-driven, health facility based intervention with women and couples to promote prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections among married women in an economically low urban community in Mumbai Position: 2 Women Research Officers Location: Mumbai Job brief: In consultation with the Field Coordinator develop the research tools. Validate with piloting them in the field Collect data using both qualitative and quantitative research methodology Document day-to-day field activities & findings and report the same to the Field Coordinator Facilitate meetings with the women, community & stakeholders Undergo training on qualitative & quantitative data collection Requirements: Master’s degree in any social sciences Fluency in Marathi, Hindi and English Good writing skills Three or more years of research experience in field based projects and data collection and supervision.
