State of Affairs of CCC in Jaipur

Dear Forum,

There was great hope, when we heard that the Community Care Center (CCC) for

people living with HIV/AIDS is going to increase and more PLWHAS are going to be

benefited out of it .

Still we are keeping that flame of hope. But NGOs like NARI Chetana SAMITI in

Jaipur who is running a CCC for the last three year having good influence with

politicians and with bureaucrats are trying to extinguish all such hopes of

PLHAS.

More than 100 complains have been filed by PLWHAs and after many bad remarks by

RSACS, these agencies has been blessed with an A' grade by some of the agencies

did the appraisal.

Earlier there were expressed concerns from the officials of RSACS. But, now

there is neither fear nor sensitivity for plwhas.

The HLFPPT has develop very good guideline but State Coordinators are weak to

enforce this guidelines.

What ever may be the guidelines and the grades of the CCC implementing agencies

the problems remain same for PLWHAs.

Dear FORUM members, please advise how such problems could be handled for the

betterment of PLHAS life.
