Hi Robyn! Thanks for asking about me - I'm here and keeping up with the posts,

just been extremely swamped at work and travelling! Everything is going great!

I hit the 80 lbs mark this weekend and rewarded myself with a sweedish massage -

it was fabulous! Thanks for checking in on me!

Hi Robyn, i recently switched internet providers and it really sucks cause now

half the time i can't log on, and i really miss talking to you guys, hopefully

the problem will get fixed. until then it is really hit or miss.

I am still here I have just been busy and not feeling too great! They can't

figure out what it is so it has been frustrating!! I am however down over 60

lbs!!! Thanks for asking. Are you feeling better? I am getting jealous you going

off to Austrailia! That is the one place I want to go! We are going

to Disneyland today, this is my first time since surgery so the kids are

excited! If you can join us please call my cell phone. I will try your cell

phone too! Hope to see you there and if Meliisa R can make it bring her too!

Hi , The problem that I am having started about one week post op. I have

a pain in my back around where your bra is on the left side and t radiates up to

the front in the chest area. I went to my PCP at 10 days post op for a check up

(I am off my BP meds woohoo!!) and told her about it she said it was probably

just from surgery. I waited and saw my surgeon and he said maybe I was getting

an ulcer so put me on protonix, it didn't get any better. I finally went to

urgent care and the doctor said it was costrochondritis ( inflamation of the

ribs) and put me on some steroids and did lab work that was all great! It still

didn't get better and I went back to my PCP she didn't agree with the urgent

care doc and ordered an xray of my chest and ribs which was normal. I also had

an EKG done which was normal. I went back to the surgeon and now he says maybe

it's my gallbladder and I need an ultrasound. My PCP said she didn't think it

was that but that maybe it is my kidneys but my urine was normal. So... now I

have an ultrasound next week and my doctor says if nothing shows up, she doesn't

know what to do. I am frustrated and in pain for 9 weeks now. I don't know what

to do. Has anyone else had this problem? I also went to a chiropractor and he

didn't help it either. I have taken vicodin with no relief as well and it is

very hard to work like this. I just want to know what it is. Any ideas?? Sorry

I did have sort of the same experience but it seems like yours may have been

alot worst. Mine happened after i ate. The left side of my upper back would

start to hurt and get hot, the pain would travel up my back and i would also

feel it in the front. I never seeked help for it or even told the doctor about

it. It just kinda went away on its own. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Oh this sucks!! I hope they find out what the problem is. I

sometimes have muscle problems in the same area and it wraps around

my side, but 2 trips to my chiropractor and it is fixed. Keep us

posted on how you are doing!!!
