Guest guest
Yes exactally that is the feeling it just happens when I get up it dos not hurt continuously...It kinda is tender near my belly button but I am figuring there is a slit there and it should be tender.....Thank you soo much...I thought I was losing my mind.. Lorie wrote: , I am 3 weeks out and I had the same feelings. I could best describe them as contractions. They passed for the most part by the second weeks. The first few days they would be so bad that I would have to call to someone in the house to come help me walk back to the chair. Lorie from Indiana Message: 20 Date: Fri, 10 Mar 2006 01:54:57 -0000 Subject: Question I had lap rny 3/3/06..Is it normal to have a tightening feeling on my left side where the drain was down to my belly button?..I called the nurse and all she would say was thatI knew my body and what kind of pain was normal for me..I wanted to reach through the phone and grab her...lol...My husband keeps saying that it hasn't even been a week and expect that...Other than that I feel great I have been walking, well I still am sleeping in the recliner...I start my full liquids Saturday..WOOHOO...Any advice on this would be great...I mean no fever no redness and no drainage..So I don't know if it is normal or not. Guest guest
Hi Angie, I too have the side pain, left side, its worse when I do a really deep breathe, just kind of a pest, it reminds me of a " side ache " like you get if you laugh or run too hard.... How are you doing? I am doing very well and feeling good. Guest guest
Hey sue good to hear from you, I just have had a time here, My parents think I am doing too much and I dont think I am doing enough, as far as walking and trying to help pick up the house..I have had no fever and there is no redness, and of course my husband smells the wound and says there is no smell, so it can't be infected...LOL...It just feels like I exercised way too much and it goes from my left side to my belly button and the nurse was so not helpful...I am glad everything is going ok with you and everyone else as far as that goes...Have you been emotional, man I have about everything, I cry at the drop of a hat...lol...I was not prepared for that..the physical pain yes I was ready for that...Well I have taken enough of your time so I will chat with you later.
