Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions on

contract basis (contract for one year likely to be continue further) in U.P.

State AIDS Control Society. The application should reach the office of the

project director at above mentioned address by registered post or courier by

31st March, 2008.

(1) Dy. Director (ICTC)- 01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 20,000- 30,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience i) MBBS with MPH or MBA or MHA (II) Minimum 05 year

experience. (iii)Desirable: MD in PSM with experience in public health/O & G/TB

and in other national programmes.

(2) Assistant Director (ICTC) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) PG degree in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/

Clinical Psychology or M Sc in Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology with 03 years

experience in relevant field. (ii) Desirable: Experience in Counseling and Human

Development or Experience in laboratory Services.

(3)Consultant (Voluntary Blood Donation) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 25,000- 35,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) Recognized PG degree in Social Science/ Social

Work/ Sociology. (ii) Atleast 05 year experience in organizing Voluntary Blood

Donation in VBD organizations. (iii) Should be a regular Voluntary Blood Donor.

(iv) Knowledge of donor motivation, donor recruitment and donor retention. (v)

Knowledge of local language.

(4) Deputy Director (CCC) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 20,000- 30,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) Recognized PG degree in Social Science with 08

years experience in relevant field.

(5) Assistant Director (Nursing) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) B Sc in Nursing with minimum 05 years experience.

(6) Consultant (CST) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 20,000- 30,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: MD in Medicine/Pediatrics with 03 years experience.

(7) Assistant Director (TI) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) PG degree in Social Science with 05 years of

experience.

(8) Deputy Director (IEC) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 20,000- 30,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (I) Essential: (i) Bachelor Degree & PG diploma in

Mass Communication from a recognized university/Institute. (ii) Minimum 08 year

experience in the field of development /health communication including planning

and implementation of IEC campaign. Desirable (i) Experience in the field of

preparation of Audio Visual publicity aids and display material in a responsible

position. (iii) Ability to develop IEC packages/strategies (i) Knowledge of AV

media & proficiency in handling the same. (v) Knowledge of modern training

techniques. (iii) Working knowledge of local language.

(9) Assistant Director (Publicity documentation) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) Essential: (i) Bachelor Degree & PG diploma in

Mass Communication/ Public relations from a recognized university/Institute.

(ii) Minimum 05 year experience in the field of development/health communication

including planning and implementation of IEC campaigns and in developing social

mobilization campaigns. Desirable: Preference would be given to the candidates

with experience in documentation of data on communication activities and with

practical experience of handling work relating to developmental communication in

health or related sectors, preparation of Audio Visual Aids and display material

in a responsible position, ability to develop nation-wide IEC packages/strategy

& liaise with Gov. & private sectors: and (i) Knowledge of AV media & proficiency

in handling audio-visual aids for training purposes. (ii) Knowledge of modern

training techniques. (iii) Working knowledge of local language.

(10) GIPA Coordinator-01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: (i) Graduate (ii) 03 years experience in HIV related

matters (preference will be given to PLHAs.)

(11) Consultant (Youth Affairs) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 15,000- 20,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: Master degree in Sociology/ Social Work/ from a

recognized institution (ii) Member of NSS for 03 years/C certificate holder of

NCC.

(12) Consultant (Civil Society Mainstreaming) -01 Post

Remuneration: Rs 25,000- 35,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Qualifications/experience: Master degree in Sociology/ Social Science from a

recognized university/ institution (ii) Minimum 10 year experience in NGO/Gov.

sector.

-Age Limit: Not more than 62 Years. But for the post no. 11,maximum age is 25

Years.

- Knowledge of local language, English and Computer proficiency is essential for

all the posts.

will be called for written/interview.
