Guest guest
Does anyone have any experience with signing on to Aetna's Work Comp network. I was contacted many months ago to sign on. When I spoke to them about their reimbursement methodology, they told me it was based on the Florida Worker's compensation schedule. (This is where I practice.) I felt I could live with that so I told them to send me the contract. Upon review of the contract, the verbiage of the compensation schedule stated a " case-based rate methodology " . My understanding of that type of schedule is similar to a diagnostic-based schedule whereby one gets reimbursed on a one time fee for however many treatments it takes to get the patient well. I cannot operate my business with that schedule. I cannot get a straight answer from two of the people at Aetna as to what they mean by this " case-based schedule " . It is not what I was told the reimbursement would be when I first spoke with them. Has anyone else dealt with this network?
