Good Afternoon Everyone

I know there are many Florida providers on this list - and I am interested

in your feedback on Medicare education and training needs from the Florida

Medicare contractor.

I will be serving on the First Coast Service Options (Florida Part A & B

Medicare) provider outreach and education advisory group this year. In

addition to the feedback I have received from Florida providers that I am in

contact with frequently, I would like to receive input from other Florida

outpatient providers (Rehab Agencies, CORFs, Hospital outpatient rehab, and

private practice).

I am interested in receiving feedback about the following:

1. Types of educational courses (content) that would assist therapists

in understanding Medicare.

2. Types of educational courses (content) that would assist business

office/billing staff in understanding Medicare regulations.

3. Format of courses (such as audio, webcast, seminars (such as

Medifest), or web-based self study etc)

Please feel free to reply to this list, or is you would like email me or

call me. I appreciate your constructive input. I have been involved with

Florida Medicare on both the inpatient and outpatient side for 20 years as a

provider, consultant, and participant in their training programs. I look

forward to presenting a collective view on education needs in the Florida

rehab provider community over the coming year that I have the opportunity to

serve on this advisory panel.

Thank you Florida providers!
