Population Foundation of India is one of the principal recipients for the program " Promoting Access to Care and Treatment-PACT " of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Round 6) to provide care, support and treatment services to people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHAs) in 8 highly vulnerable states of India for a period of 5 years. • PFI is interested in recruiting Strategic Information & Evaluation Associate for supporting Sr.Manager-SIE in successfully implementing monitoring and evaluation system. •Post Graduation in Social science / statistics / Demography with 3-5 years of experience in a social sector, preferably with a specific experience in monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS programs. Good working knowledge on computer. Must have knowledge on Spreadsheet/ Power Point, MS Access, etc. Working experience on statistical software (ex. SPSS) is compulsory. • Monthly consolidated fee is expected to be Rs. 27,000 to 30,000 per month. In addition to the above, the following traits and qualities would be expected from the selected candidate: 1. She/He should: • Fair understanding on research methodology .. Good analytical ability including statistical analysis and application of statistical software • Good coordination skills • Strong interpersonal & communication Skills • Be a Team Player • Have functional skills • Have interpersonal & communication skills 2. Reports functionally & administratively to Sr. Manager- SIE 3. Job Responsibilities would include: • Work in the supervision of Sr. Associate on a daily basis. • To assist in development of necessary program monitoring tools, pre-testing and fine-tuning. • To ensure timely, error free and complete reports from core sub-grantees. • Support Sr.Manager-SIE in successfully implementing data quality assurance mechanism in the program area. • Analyze MIS and program evaluation data and use of statistical applications • To periodically visit all locations (service delivery points, core sub-grantee offices and PFI state units) for monitoring quality of MIS and assure compliance with the monitoring systems developed for the project. • In consultation with Sr.Manager and Sr.Associate, comment on the achievements with reference to the project indicators • To coordinate with other agencies and Consultants for collaborative monitoring and evaluation of the project. • Coordinate with teams of program management and grants management for smooth function of the program. • To assist in carrying out operation research/special studies for the project and coordinate with Operations Research-Technical Resource Team. Offer feedback on the study reports and support in finalizing study reports. • Put up notes for necessary approvals from Project Director/Executive Director. • Whenever required, take lead in preparing presentations for Project Advisory Board, review meetings. The short listed candidate will be called for an interview at PFI, New Delhi. The person selected may have to join in a months time from the date of the offer letter.
