I havn't been able to find any research on women's health and the effects that Mito may have on the reproductive system (hey, the saying is any organ any age..lol). I have very heavy periods, clots, and pain...of course the GYN can't find any reason for it. All tests keep coming back clean. The other issue is that my neuro as well as PCP do not want me on any birth control that contains estrogen or progesterone...my blood pressure skyrockets and both are known to cause stroke and heart attacks (did you know that the Depo shot can block the bodies ability to metabolize lipids!
