Guest guest
I am slowly, after many decades of change, and increased tread on my brains exhausted tires, beginning to get it: 1) Physicians do not accurately diagnose people with really serious conditions that they actually do have and do need treatment for because: a) they really are concerned about our being denied work (likely) or insurance (less likely; heaven forfend that they should make medical history by actually documenting MS in a child of teen-ager or young adult; c) NOT getting a definitive differential diagnosis, is, of course really going to actually help us, despite lack of readily available treatment: to work and/or be legitimately certified as disabled. OR: 2) These physicians are just plain terrified of being sued or "found out" by some hospital, university or medical group for having submitted some deserving youngster or young person to (gasp!) treatment!!! We deserve better, as does every child and adult with any serious medical condition, genetic disease, accidental in jury, disabling condition, and on an on and on. . . . . . . Love to you all, n
