Oops sorry. Got carried away in introducing myself to the group.

Yes Wayne, I know exactly what you meant. Suffered thru many months of

smelling these delicious cooking smells of roast chicken, grilled steak

(all of which I still can't eat three years down the track) but like you,

soon cottoned onto the idea of processing all meals into a thick, but

delicious " sludge " and pouring over my usual pap of risotto rice or mashed

potato. One of my favourites still is to dry fry sardines and garlic in an

oil-sprayed pan and add a little skim milk powder mixed with water and

process to make a fairly thick sauce consistency then pour over the rice or

potato. Tomato paste is nice with it too. Only discovered arborio rice

(risotto rice) on sale at most supermarkets now a year ago and it would be

my staple food. It is so easy to cook and you can add whatever flavourings

you want to the early cooking process and it is delicious and so easy to

digest and it does stay down. Still have problems with vegetables and they

usually end up in this form too. And as for soups - what you can't add to

soups - I've become a soup expert.

I know we are supposed to eat solid food, but I get so sick of the vomiting

and the uncomfortable feelings - bread is a fond but very distant memory

but there are crackerbreads. Chips are too, but there is ....... Hang on, I

should put it on 's

site.
