Rick, I don't mean to hijack you're question but?I have a similar?question.?

You're question is, " ...what?percentage do you find acceptable for outstanding

AR... " ?

My question is, " What percentage do you actually have in the following

categories.

Now, here is the rub.? Do you include accounts that are letters of protection

(LOP's) from attorney, because they take forever to close?? Do you count the

people that have been sent to collections?

Me, personally, I don't count the LOP's because that is not really under my

billing managers control.?

I do, however, count the people turned over to collections as we should have

received money from them.??(Caveat, you can't count them forever or you will

become " top heavy " with this old debt.? I usually discard them after a year).

That's just my?bit and if you have?better ideas, let me know.? With that being

said, here is our information.?Input from others would be most helpful and

everybody be honest!.??

Oh, by the way, people.? It's courtesy to state your name, town and where you

practice when you?submit?on a list serve.

0-30 days??????? 37%

30-60 days????? 20%

60-90 days??????? 9%

90-120 days????? 3%

Over 120???????? 31%
