Dear FORUM,

Greetings from SFDRT!

We from SfDRT would like to invite you for the inauguration of our new ward for

the children infected with HIV/AIDS at Puducherry - a 20 bedded hospital which

will treat the opportunistic infections.

As you may be aware that Society for Development Research and Training

intensively (SFDRT) works with the people living with HIV/AIDS in terms of

identifying them, make them feel comfortable in associating with us as an

individual and as an organization, treating them with their opportunistic

infections, giving them emotional support, helping them with information on

nutritional support and livelihood projects etc. we have now extended our hands

to support the children infected with HIV/AIDS.

SfDRT is proud to have the support of FONDAZIONE AIUTARE I BAMBINI in having a

building for the purpose of admitting 20 HIV infected children at a time and

treating their opportunistic infections, giving 100 infected children

nutritional support of worth 1050/- per month per child, supporting the children

with home based care and support towards positive living and arranging for their

monthly periodical health check up.

We are extremely glad that the Honorable Chief Minister of Puducherry has kindly

consented to inaugurate the stone sculpture depicting the opening of the ward

for the HIV infected children on the 5th of June 2008.

We from SFDRT will be extremely happy if you could join us to give life to all

these needy children once in our life time.

Looking forward to your esteemed company to laud the initiatives of SFDRT

towards providing the best to the HIV infected children in Puducherry.

With warm wishes

Shyamala Ashok
