Guest guest
Hi, Everyone!! I hope you have all been well and that the kids are doing well, too! I've only had one or two opportunities to check the digest to see the subjects discussed (over the past two, almost three, months). I thought, however, I'd say hello today for a few reasons: 1. If there is a Carol on this list who works at an Adoption Agency in North Jersey, I think I wrote down my email address wrong. It's debsch65@.... 2. Although RSS is still the working diagnosis for Jake, at our most recent endo appt (last month), he was concerned that Jake hasn't gained any weight since before December. (Yeah, we were, too, that's why I moved up the appt). So, now we are going through G.I. testing again. His eating has REALLY slacked off and so I don't think his caloric intake was adequate on the daily diet intake sheets this past week. Also, she is starting over, sort of, with bloodwork (which I'm right now awaiting her phone call with the results), she's having his stool tested for parasites. And, has considered constipation to be part of the problem. But, hasn't come to the final decision. The poor little guy, he had to have a rectal exam, too. She thinks there just may be something more than a syndrome at this point causing his failure to gain weight. He's still at 28 lbs, and 38 " by the way, 5 yrs., 3 mos. Anyway, all this made me think of Kathleen, with her little Abby. I wonder how she (you are) is doing. By the way, the G.I. indicated that sacral dimples can cause constipation in that the spine and the nervous system are shortened thereby not causing the typical feelings to go, or something like that, anyway! Interesting, huh? and 3. We have not yet moved, but are moving closer to Philadelphia, to Westmont, NJ at the end of June. Our house sold and we bought another, etc. etc. etc. Well, I thought that I'd update you on Jake's progress, or (seeming)lack thereof. Like I said, I hope you're all very well and that the kiddies are growing! Take care, everyone and have a great day!
