" Kancheepuram District Network of Positive People " have been able to initiate

two care and support projects [Care & Treatment and ACT project funded by APAC

and INP+] that provided varied services

to PLHA within the district.

We need a full capable and experienced person in NGO field for

coordinating the staff and the project.

Designation Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Overall project in charge.

• Planning and implementation of the project as envisaged in the

proposal.

• Act as a contact and reporting person on behalf of NGO to APAC.

• Developing weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly plans.

• Maintaining weekly / monthly Journey plan.

• Planning, organizing and conducting training programs.

• Participating in the review meeting and other related meetings

convened at district level, cluster level or at state level.

• Preparation and submission of MFR/MTR and other reports.

• Carrying out suggestions provided by the DPO, Technical officers

of APAC.

• Organizing staff development training programs.

• Evolving all possible mechanism to saturate the coverage.

• Initiatives for ensuring private partnership.

• Identifying the gaps and evolving mechanism to address the same.

• Coordinating with care and treatment NGO program team.

• Documenting best practices and dissemination.

• Sustainability plans.

• Preparation of annual / consolidated reports.

• Other related activities.

Essential qualification

• Post graduation preferably with Social work.

• Should have worked with NGOs.

• He/She should have good leadership and communication skills to

lead a team.

• Experience in HIV/AIDS care & support project is desirable.

Preference/added qualification

• Computer skills.

• Understanding about the district.

• Understanding about Financial procedures.

• Experience in working among PLHA/Networks is desirable.
