Guest guest
Katy, My memory is not always thsat good so verify whatever I say. I cannot answer all you Questions specifically except to say the I remember Dr H. talking about bone age at the convention. I interepted what she was saying was that it is 'normal' for a RSS child to have a delayed bone age. I also got the impression that with RSS kids, using growth hormone it wasn't a bad thing. She use bone age to help determine the steps in her protocol of treatment. I think(stressing again to confirm) that Dr. H will continue gh and delay puberty until bone age catches up with chronological age. The longer the bone age delay the more growth via gh prior to puberty. Katy, I cannot stress enough that this info is from memory therefore may not be accurate. But I believe I'm in the right church just maybe the wrong pew. To my friends, Peace and Prayers Mark dad to 4 ( 5 in April), G-tube
