Guest guest
Dear Forum, Andhra Pradesh is believed to be one of the leading HIV infected States in India, which runs its VCTCs without kits more than a month by now…. What the billion dollars (in the name of AIDS) offices such as NACO and APSACS are doing, they have so much of money to organize campaigns/public meetings to publicize them selves, whereas the poor fellows who infected wanted themselves to go for the check, also for the ART are dying (without this Facility), while the others continue infecting the innocent partners with no intention. NACO and other agencies are engaged in mega clean up of NGOs. Forgetting the ultimate existence of " Positive Net Works " in its mind, are running out for Projects to enjoy luxury in many of the cases... Can't these Networks,CBOs raise their voices on issues like these than fighting for Community Care Centers etc. If the problem allowed further to continue just like this then how the AIDS control program are going to be effective and control the epidemic? Guest guest
Dear FORUM, It is hightime for NACO to focus on supply chain management having as they now have an additional secretary to look after " Procurement " . AP should bring back Mrs. Damayanthi as PD and have a check on the external agencies who claim to provide funding support and in the end implement programs of their choice and not in line with the needs of the PLHIV.
