Dear Forum Friends,

Greetings.

We are the state level body of INP+. We have near about 4000 member. Most of

them are from Below Poverty Line (BPL). They do not have the enough money to

maintain their family.

In this condition they are admiting in the hospital due to their illness. For

some cases doctors are suggesting some expensive clinical tests. I also agree

with those doctors because they definately need those tests. But the problem is

that they have no money for that particular test. Some time we are also talking

with the hospital authority and they are also giving 25% discount. Some time we

are getting 50% discount. But till the problem is there, because those person who

are admitted in the hospital they can not bera the rest of the money.

In that case we are asking financial support from NGOs who are working with us.

But, they(NGOs)also have also limitation.

HIV Virus has no such limitation. Day by day they are incresing, they donot

bother financial condition of that person where they are living.

My opinion is all the important clinical tests should free for all the HIV

positve people.

Regards,

Tarit.
