Sorry for my late input to the pinkie question! Charissa's pinkies have

been noticeably bent from day 1. On both hands the middle section makes

a jag towards her ring finger. Imagine my surprise to hear at our

initial appointment with Dr. H. in July that she feels Charissa's bent

pinkies are an indication she does NOT have RSS! She said that the bone

isn't triangular & causing them to bend (which Dr. H. feels is the case

in kids with RSS). She saw (when reading the bone age x-ray) that the

section of bone is shaped right, just tilted, so it can't be RSS.

SO...I don't know what Dr. H. would say about Adam's bowed pinkies.

But for the record, I still think Charissa is RSS, in spite of what Dr.

H. said.

are you saying that the middle portion of the pinkie is " closer " to

the ring finger, or its furthest?

I thought RSS kids had the curve going the other way (as in Cody's picture).

This is an interesting topic... my son has the curved fingers (curve going

same way as Cody's), but the rest of the fingers go the other way. I don't

know why this is.

....another thought, but will post in a different msg...
