Hey Cin,

Thanks, but the (most) recent pics were the wedding day ones (2 years ago

in Nov)..the ones you (and *I*) like are (for me, because we're " casual "

<grin> ...and because of the really neat, large (yes) tree roots! i

actually have collected pieces (much smaller no kidding!!HaH!) for

" several years...like would you belive I have some driftwood pieces which

are over twenty years old??? strange girl eh? <grin> ah well...

These pics are from about 4 or 5? years ago and were taken at San

Beach in Port Renfrew which is about a hour up the coast from where we

lived in Sooke...(about 2 hours from ) It is situated between a

couple of inlets of water which runs directly to the entrance of the

Pacific Ocean...a really beautiful place!!! and I have been there

where in over 3 hours time you might pass a half dozen people (max)...

even in summer it is a laid back kind of place...Lovely!!!

It was (always) the beach that I referred to as my " Driftwood Heaven "

(sadly for me..the last time we were there...there was very little of the

" wall " of large and various " gnarly " types driftwood pieces...one would

hope that this would indicate less of the clear (or what looks like

" nearly " clear ut areas in the hills there) but I think it is more an

indication of people using the pieces of wood for their fireplaces,

woodstoves etc...(and not enough " cut backs " to " clear cuts " ... Geesh!

ya shouldn't have gotten me started on driftwood/beaches eh? tsk tsk

Anyway, that is why I had Randy send them...they're a good indication of

some of the rustic beauty here....just as a btw, the likehood of really

large whales (that size) ending up on *that* particular beach is pretty

small, but... if they did they would likely be removed and examined...

(I would think...)

(ha ha ...also note...hair colour was still blonde and " out of a bottle "

back then...sure is " dark " now??? <puzzled expression>

Oh, yeah... thats right...'I *darken* my hair now...I didn't " lighten it

back then did I ?? Now!... I remember....<wink>

well gotta go...hope you are well...will try to catch up with you soon...

am starting to pack...planning on a move ...of some sort ??....

Great pictures of you and Randy. What were you two sitting in?

If you've mentioned that before, I missed it. It looks like either a

tree or a whale rib cage! but it looks like bark is peeling off the

" ribs " , so I lean toward thinking it's more likely a tree than a whale.

Where were you when these were taken?

BTW, you two are lookin' good!
