Guest guest
Hi Sheila... This kind of applies to this thread so I will continue in this one. I want to take enzymes for my current situation to help me with breaking down animal fats and fats in general. Certain fruits, veggies can also bother my whole bilary/pancreatic situation (not sure exactly- pointing towards bile sludge or something am getting more tests) I also have high candida levels. I feel the yeast gets better and then some days it is very bad. I am trying to figure out a regimen and which problem to combat first- fats or yeast??? I have responded very well to the S. Boulardii Yesterday, I added Lyosan later in the day (S. Boulardii in AM Lyosan at PM) I was very gassy after Lyosan. This morning I woke up and had no D! The Lyosan has really helped with the BM's considerably it's amazing sometimes I have problems if I stop and try to resume taking it but mostly I think it is responsible for such good BM's. It is usually so much better when I take it. I find the S. Boulardii helps on a level where I don't feel so much discomfort, nausea and like an abdominal burning that is hard for me to explain. I do get more pressure sometimes in RUQ after the probiotics. I eventually want to try DG and Candizyme. Which one do you think I should try first? How do you think I should try it? Do you think when I try something new in general on those days I shouldn't take a probiotic? How will I know if I am feeling bad from not taking probiotic or something new? I just find it very confusing figuring my body out and reading it. It is like somehow I am so connected to my body yet so disconnected in the sense I HAVE ABSOLUTELY no idea what is going on. All my investigation work sometimes brings me to the point of maybe I shouldn't take supplements all together. I just don't know. Jodi SCD 6 months Crohn's/Colitis > Digest Gold and Candizyme have some enzymes in common with varying > levels of each. For example both have Protease, amylase, lactase. > Candizyme has lysozyme and Hemicellulase, DG does not. How much DG are you taking/day?
