Guest guest
Uh, I don't think so! lol....I need my meds. Too many people are being labeled as drug seekers these days, can you imagine if I showed up looking like a hippie asking for oxycodone refills. Besides, I'd feel silly wearing hippie clothes now. My sweats and t-shirts are about as hip as I get these days! lol......... By the way I finally got my final approval for my power chair.......I should have it in 7-10 days! YAY!! Hugs and Love, Jackie :-) Subject: Re: Interesting! To: MSersLife Date: Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 2:35 PM ROFL You ol' Hippie, you! LOLOL Next time you go in to the pharmacy yourself, be sure to wear Hippie Garb man. LOL HUGS, Challis Re: Interesting! Ooooh, I liked to say "gag me with a spoon", and I picked it up when my kids were teenagers. I don't think they wanted their mom to talk like them though! lol.... But while we are on this subject I did something yesterday that actually astonished me, and probably the pharmacist too. He had questioned my hubby about why I was taking narcotics, how much, etc. He was new and I wanted to make sure he knew why, so I called to have a talk with him about it. I explained about my MS and other pain related illnesses, and how long I've been taking them........ years.... ..and he said he understood, he was just wanting to make sure I wasn't taking more than 12 a day because of the tylenol in them.......Then I said: "Okay, then we are copesetic" because I never take more than 3 a day! I NEVER use that word, and too say it to all people,..... ...about narcotics... ..Geeeeesh! !! That word is an old Hippie word from the day......so you can kind of see where I'm coming from to use that terminology when talking about drugs! YIKES!! Jackie Sounds like Radical, Gnarley, Tubular, like gag me with a spoon, et al, are on their way. lol Challis
