I was in it so I first told her - don't even pay for me I'll bring my

own but she said just tell me what you need I'll have the chefs do

it - petrified I prayed before i ate my steak with sliced avocados on

hte side- LOL but all was fine -I had 3 hard boiled eggs to eat

slowly during cocktail hour/salad time (I ate soup at her house -

chicken/carrots in the limo) so I wasn't very hungry arriving then

when dessert came I drank my smoothie brought a banana too but got

too full -anyway - as a guest I probably wouldn't have such

treatment - so I'm comtemplating 2 wedding s we have this year but

will either not go ( I always send hubby and stay with the kids

anyway) or go and bring most of my stuff and call ahead to the

reception place to let them know my steak has to be done in a gluten-

free environment with nothing on it but oil/salt - and see what they

say

we shouldn't miss out - if you want to go they should accomodate -

there are so many allergies now that most chefs are used to it but go

above/beyond explaining so they don't screw up!!!
