Hi,I think I don't know is the best answer anyone can give you. A safe bet is to buy from Lucy's or Digestivewellness.comI make my own, once you get started, you'll be shocked at how easy it is.

Get a glass jar, put in some (7 or 8 beans maybe for every 12 oz of liquid) whole vanilla beans split length wise, fill jar with vodka, leave jar in your cupboard for a couple of months, shaking once a month or so. Then you will have a big jar full of vanilla extract. If it is not dark enough or tasty enough add more vanilla beans.

I fill smaller jars with the extract and every time I add another bean or two and more vodka. It's super easy, not too expensive and you know what is in it.Best of luck to you.CD 7 years
